The Pipe Jacking Association represents the leading contractors, pipe suppliers, machinery manufacturers, consultants, and other suppliers in the United Kingdom pipe jacking and microtunnelling industry.

The Association is dedicated to best practices for the cost-effective and environmentally sensitive underground installation of utility services.

The PJA provides:
• Detailed design advisory publications based on industry best practice
• Case studies covering a range of applications and typical carbon savings
• CPD lectures for clients and design teams
• Presentations and animations to explain the technology
• Research at leading universities and student teaching resources
• Carbon calculator demonstrating carbon savings of non-disruptive methods

Membership of the Association is for well-established companies registered in the UK who are in business as pipe jacking and/or microtunnelling contractors, manufacturers of pipe jacking machinery and equipment, pipe manufacturers, consulting engineers, and specialist suppliers to the pipe jacking industry. Overseas companies are also eligible to join the Association in each of the above categories, with limited participation rights. Further details can be obtained from the Association's secretary.
