The purpose of the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA) is to promote education, training, research, and development; provide information on traditional, trenchless, and rehabilitation technologies; and promote the use of these technologies.
UCTA advances the science and practice of installing, repairing, maintaining, and replacing utility lines and related facilities through construction and rehabilitation techniques. This also includes municipal water, sewer, and wastewater systems; gas distribution; oil/gas transmission and gathering lines; and telephone, electric, and cable systems.
